Why we do it

Family, friends and work colleagues are the most important parts of our lives. But too often we let precious family memories and moments slip away unrecorded or forgotten:

* Our children and grandchildren grow up all too quickly, and we forget the innocence of childhood
* We let time fade the memories of special events in our lives
* We wish we’d talked more to elderly relatives about their lives and the stories they have to tell
* We lose touch with colleagues when they retire, change jobs or move away
* We take endless photographs and videos only to leave them to gather dust in the attic
* We allow distance to become a barrier
